We’re very lucky in London to have the Design Museum – until recently situated right on the Thames and now about to open in a brand premises in Kensington. I’m also very lucky to have been given the chance to host their #FontSunday twitter blog – where their audience of 3.19 million followers are invited to submit imagery of fonts on a particular theme.
So hot on the heels of Great British Bake-off winner Frances Quinn’s ice cream theme, my theme was international cuisine.
I set up the rusty old mac and at 12 noon, things fairly kicked off. Minute after minute more and more images were sent through and my work was cut out to select the best to retweet – just so many!
